Abstract:Abstract: Objective:To explore the effect of miR-205 on the growth of human gastric cancer cell line SGC7901 cells and potential mechanisms. Methods:After SGC7901 cells were transfected with miR-205 mimics, the morphological changes of the cells were observed by microscope, the expression levels of miR-205 were determined by qRT-PCR with SYBR Green I, and the expression of ZEB1 and ZEB2 genes were detected by RT-PCR. Results:The levels of miR-205 in the cells transfected with miR-205 mimics (0.027 33±0.014) were significantly higher than that of blank group (0.000 619±0.000) and the negative control (0.001 064±0.001), q=5.77 and 5.67, P<0.01. After transfected with miR-205 mim ics, the SGC7901 cells formed fewer colonies and the mRNA levels of ZEB1 and ZEB2 genes were obviously downregulated. Conclusion:miR-205 inhibited the growth of SGC7901 cells by downregulating the expression of ZEB1 and ZEB2 genes, which may be helpful to investigate the molecular diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer.
