Abstract:Ubiquitin-specific protease 24 (USP24) is a family of deubiquitinated proteases, which has the ability to remove the ubiquitin from the ubiquitinated substrate, thus regulating the stability and activity of the substrate, and plays an important role in regulating cell cycle, proliferation, apoptosis, and differentiation. In recent years, USP24 is related to the occurrence and development of tumor, neurodegenerative diseases, DNA damage repair and infection, and the research progress of USP24 is reviewed in this paper.
