Chlamydia trachomatis (C.t ) infection is one of the most frequently reported bacterial sexually transmitted infection in the world.Effective laboratory detection has an important impact on the control of C.t infection. In this paper, the research status of laboratory detection methods and detection strategies of Chlamydia trachomatis were summarized.
