Abstract:Abstract: Objective To analyze the detection status, virulence gene distribution and drug resistance of Vibrio parahaemolyticus from different sources in Zhenjiang area in 2018. Methods Pathogenic detection of Vibrio parahaemolyticus was performed on food and disease cases which required in the food risk monitoring in 2018, all strains identified as Vibrio parahaemolyticus were detected virulence genes(tlh, tdh, trh) by fluorescence quantitative PCR, and 15 antibiotic resistance experiments were conducted on the strains by micro-broth dilution method. Results The positive detection rate of food samples was 60.00%, the positive detection rate of patient samples was 1.48%, the difference was statistically significant (χ2=241.82, P<0.01); The tlh gene of 30 Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains were all positive, the tdh gene and trh gene of the food source strains (food strains) were all negative; The disease source strains (disease strains) were positive for 88.89% tdh gene and 11.11% trh gene. The resistance rate of food strains and disease strains to cefazoline, ampicillin and erythromycin were higher, with food strains 100.00, 66.67, and 66.67 % respectively, and disease strains were 100.00, 88.89, and 88.89 % respectively. The multiple drug resistance of disease strains was higher than that of food strains, the multiple drug resistance rate of disease strains was 77.78%, and that of food strains was 52.38%. AMP-CFZ-ERY was the main multiple drug resistance spectrum. Conclusion The detection rate of Vibrio parahaemolyticus from different sources was significantly different. Vibrio parahaemolyticus was one of the main pathogenic bacteria leading to food-borne diseases in the region. All food strains in this region did not carry virulence genes, and disease strains carried tdh and trh virulence genes. The resistance of disease strains to ampicillin and erythromycin was higher than that of food strains, and the multi-drug resistance was also higher than that of food strains. The multi-drug resistance spectrum of the two isolates was relatively single.
