Abstract:Object Norovirus (NOV) is recognized as one of the primary causes of nonbacterial acute gastroenteritis. As its infectious dose is low, its resistance is strong, and its communicable speed is quick, the virus can infect a large scale of crowd. It is important to identify sensitively、quickly and exactly NOV . Methods At present, the molecular biology technology has been a main method to detect NOV. These technologies include polymerase chain reaction technology、high-throughput sequencing、gene chip technologyand and biosensor technology. Results The paper reviews on the application of various molecular biology technologies in the detection of NOV, in order to provide a reference for lab workers to practice to select suitable methods. Conclusion Different technologies have different application scope, advantages and disadvantages in the actual detection of NOV. These molecular biology technologies are widely applied in clinic diagnosis and epidemiology analysis.
