Abstract:Abstract: Objective To explore the value of the ratios of neutrophil to lymphocyte (NLR) , lymphocyte to monocyte ( LMR), platelet to lymphocyte ratio ( PLR) and systemic immune inflammatory index ( SII neutrophil number/ lymphocyte numberxplatelet number combined with CA153 for the differentiation of malignant tumors from benign breast tumors. Methods A total of 440 female patients with breast cancer and 544 patients with benign breast disease who were initially diagnosed from 2015 to 2019 were included. All the parameters in the two groups were compared and the correlations with clinical pathological features were analyzed. The receiver operating characteristic curve ( ROC) was used to analyzxe the diagnostic efficacy of these indicators. Results The values of NLR, LMR,PLR and SII were 1.79 (1.43, 2.31), 5.12 (4.08, 6.36), 119.70 (97.42, 149.80) and 367.30 (286.20, 506.30) in breast cancer group, 1.44 (1.14, 1.76), 5.21 (4.24, 6.38), 109.00 (87.02, 132.40) and 300.40 (224.00, 390. 10) in benign breast disease group, respectively. NLR, PLR and SII in breast cancer group were significantly higher than those in benign breast disease group (P<0.001). NLR was correlated with age of breast cancer patients ( P= 0.004), lymph node metastasis ( P= 0.035),TNM stage (P=0.047), while LMR and PLR were only correlated with age of breast cancer patients ( P= 0.008, P=0.024); SII was correlated with age of breast cancer patients ( P= 0.000 2) and TNM stage ( P =0.041 ). The area under the receiver operating characteristic ( AUCROC) of NLR was 0.716, which was higher than that of other parameter. The AUCROC values of CA 153 combined with the detection of other four parameters were all higher than those of the single detection of the four parameters. Conclusion NLR, PLR and SII of breast cancer patients may behigher than those of benign breast disease patients. The combined detection of NLR and CA153 could improve the auxiliary diagnosis efficiency of breast cancer.
